Search the Gunnin Architecture Library Collection

  • combine keywords using AND or OR for more precise results
  • use "quotation marks" to search for phrases
  • title and journal title searches (using dropdown options on the left) are phrase searches by default
  • to search by author, use last name, then first name: kingsolver, barbara
  • searches are not case sensitive
  • use Advanced search to combine search categories
  • Select "All CU Collections" to search everything Clemson owns.

Interlibrary Loan: It's free! But can take time--plan ahead!

'Hold' or recall a book: Click on the Hold/Recall button at the top left of an individual record in the catalog to recall a checked out item, or place it on hold (to be next in line to check it out). You'll receive an email when the item becomes available.

Find Dissertations/Theses/Terminal Projects

In addition to the online databases below, you can search the Libraries catalog by author or title to find out whether and via what platform (print, media, web) a specific dissertation, thesis, or terminal project is available. Use Resource Sharing to request items not in CU Libraries collections.

If Clemson doesn't own the book, journal, or other material you need, use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request it from other research libraries. It's free!

  • Request other materials through Interlibrary Loan.

All South Carolina academic libraries (PASCAL) now have a shared catalog. This means you can now request any item made available by another PASCAL library, right from your Clemson Libraries' search results.  Just select the list under "Get It from Other Institutions" to complete your request.
