The latest codes are located in the Reference Section and are for library use only. Look for earlier editions in the Lower Level book stacks--these can be checked out. Check the library catalog for availability.

To locate a standard or code that you need, follow this progression:

1. Search the Libraries catalog using the keywords you're sure of. It helps to know the full name of the organization that publishes what you need (examples: American Concrete Institute, National Fire Protection Association).
2. Ask your subject librarian for assistance in searching. You will learn a lot about best search practices! and get what you need--Win/Win.
