WARNING:
EF and EF-S lenses are typically much heavier than EF-M lenses. Given that mirrorless cameras are generally lighter than DSLR counterparts, use of the adapter can offset the camera balance. This can be mitigated by:
- Supporting the lens when manually shooting
- Attaching tripods to the mount provided on the adapter rather than the camera
- Only using full sized tripods with appropriate stability
