The National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ) publish "Reviews of Reading Instruction Materials..." and list "Exemplary Materials" that appear to meet their highest criteria. Listed here are the titles with current electronic access for immediate use. "eBook possible..." signifies titles which may be purchased (generally during the September to April purchasing year). Titles from Pearson are not available for purchase by libraries as electronic books (their sales model revolves around individual students purchasing access). Contact your librarian to arrange for purchase.
This list is not an endorsement of the NCTQ or its methods and goals. They may be the greatest thing since sliced bread or merely this year's attempt to understand "Why Johnny can't read".
