This training, "Reading Scientific Papers", from the Office of Intramural Education & Training from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is excellent. It's well worth watching in its entirety. If you only have a few minutes, you can skip to 17:00 when the speaker begins recommending specific steps to take to read a scientific paper.
