Gunnin Architecture Library Exhibits and Displays: The Third Place

 In conjunction with the School of Architecture Third Place Lecture Series, the Gunnin Architecture Library is featuring items from our collection that relate to the Third Place topic, with special emphasis on Library as Third Place. As we re-envision our space, we think about the purpose of our library.  What kind of space do you need? What kinds of interactions take place in a library? What kind of function can this space fulfill? How can we design the space to encourage a variety of uses and interactions? How is the academic library a third place?
