Rhetorics, Communication, & Information Design (RCID)

especially useful CU Libraries resources and services for graduate students in the multidisciplinary RCID program

Checking out materials @ CU

Graduate students may have 200 items checked out at one time. See https://libraries.clemson.edu/borrow/borrowing-privileges/ for loan periods of specific formats.

Books can be renewed online via My Account. Books and media are subject to recall by other users.

We will also pull books we own and hold them for you at the Library Services desk.  If you live 30 or more miles from campus, we will mail materials to you and include a prepaid mailer to make returning them easy.

Having articles and book chapters sent to you

If you need an article or chapter from a print or microform journal or book that we own, the Libraries will scan and email it to you.

When looking at the print book/print journal/microfilm in the library catalog, sign in and choose Request Digital Article/Chapter.

Scans are typically available within 48 business hours.
