The "popular" in Popular Reading

The Popular Reading and Audiobooks collection is intended to provide current popular fiction and current general interest non-fiction in print and audio formats, along with classic literature in audio format, for personal enjoyment and intellectual enrichment.

Emphasis is placed on books and audiobooks published in the past 6-12 months.

Older books may occasionally be purchased or moved into the collection if a recent occurrence makes them of current interest (ex. film/tv adaptation, anniversary, re-issue, etc).

Audiobooks of "classic" titles published anywhere from ancient times to the 20th century are actively purchased.
