Clemson Online: Books & eBooks

Find Books and eBooks

Search the library catalog:

  1. Choose a search type from the drop-down menu:

Keyword - start here when you're researching a topic.

Title - search for the title (or the beginning of the title) of the book or journal you need.

Author - search by "lastname, firstname" to find books by an author. E.g.: Austen, Jane.

  2. Enter your word(s) and Search.

NOTE: To limit your search to eBooks, choose "Electronic Resources" instead of "View Entire Collection" from the drop-down menu on the right.

Need a Book that Clemson Doesn't Have?

  1. Try requesting the book through PASCAL Delivers [you can choose a Pickup Institution at various universities across South Carolina, including Greenville] or, if you can't find it there, make an Interlibrary Loan request. Interlibrary loan items can be mailed to faculty/staff and to students enrolled in distance education programs by choosing the "Mail To Address" option within your Interlibrary Loan account.

  2. If you are a Clemson graduate student or faculty member, you can check out books at the University of Georgia at Athens. Graduate students need a letter of permission and faculty need a borrowing card. These can be requested from Teri Alexander (Circulation & Facilities Manager) by email, phone: 864-656-5172, or fax: 864-656-4622.

Request Book Delivery

To request book delivery, click the "Request" button in the Clemson Libraries catalog. After you log in, you have two options:

  1. If you can conveniently access the University Center in Greenville, you have two options:
    • Select University Center - Greenville as your pick-up location
    • Choose "Distance Education Delivery" and have the item(s) delivered to your home address by entering your full mailing address in the "Comments or special notes" field
  2. If you cannot conveniently access the University Center or a Clemson Library Branch, select Distance Education Delivery and enter your full mailing address in the "Comments or special notes" field
